Blue Marlin are found off the waters of Venice La. and are one of the most recognised offshore fish in the world.   With their distinctive bill and markings it is rare to mistake a Blue Marlin for any other type of fish.

The Blue Marlin is the 2nd fastest swiming fish in the ocean behind the sail fish.   Marlin can swim up to 50 mph  and they are caught by trolling special lures and very fast speeds.

When a Marlin is hooked the party is just starting.  These fish will make you work for them with many throwing the hook well into the fight.
