On the Water

Fishing Port Sulphur

Fishing out of Port Sulphur gives us direct access to the vast marsh systems and the deeper waters of the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet. This area is renowned for its abundant Redfish and Speckled Trout populations, which we target year-round, though the bite can be particularly strong in the fall and spring. Flounder and Black Drum are also plentiful, often found in the channels and around structure. When heading offshore from Port Sulphur, we can pursue Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Wahoo, and Tuna, especially during the spring, summer, and fall months. A charter from Port Sulphur is an excellent choice for anglers looking to experience the full spectrum of what the Venice area fishing scene has to offer.

Wife and I booked with Captain Brent Roy. This is the first time we’ve booked a charter ever, so we didn’t know exactly what to expect. We had the quite possibly the best time of our lives fishing with him. He was awesome, easy going and extremely knowledgeable. We had a limit…
